Viking Jewelry in the Age of Instagram: A Viking Perspective

Launched in 2013, the company, which is owned by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, offers the same style of jewelry that inspired the company’s famous Norse Viking warriors, but with an emphasis on Norse mythology.

The company recently launched a new Instagram account, where fans can submit photos of their Viking jewelry, as well as share their own.

The photos will be added to a permanent display in the company of Vikings, which will include items from the brand’s Vikings collection.

The new Instagram post, created by co-founder Matt Mascia and featuring a picture of a pair of Norse warriors, also offers a little insight into how the company came to be.

The post was posted on November 12, and features a picture that’s been captioned with a quote from the Viking mythology.

“The Norse warriors who lived before the arrival of the Vikings were the greatest and most feared warriors in the history of mankind.
